Women of Earth
← Rise Up And CareToday, forgotten. But they were once the foundation. What if a documentary could bring this ancestral culture back into focus? The film follows a young woman retracing her roots across Brazil, from Olinda to Indigenous villages, from caiçara coastal towns to communities founded by escaped slaves. Guided by midwives and the wisdom of women who carry these stories, her journey reconnects past and present, revealing what was never meant to disappear. A documentary I co-directed that traveled the world.
