⇁ AI is still new for everyone, but directing a film made with AI is an entirely different level of challenge, and this project became a major learning experience. It was also my first time entering an AI-focused festival, the
AI Creative Festival, and I already made it to the shortlist.
The mission was to expose childhood myopia, a serious issue in Brazil. We created a film where a large portion is intentionally out of focus, designed to spark discomfort and curiosity in the audience. As it unfolds, viewers try to understand what’s wrong. In the plot twist, we reveal the real villain: childhood myopia, blurring the heroes’ vision and shattering their dreams right before their eyes. We brought it to screens nationwide under
the ZEISS Brazil banner, and everyone who watched walked away seeing the danger in perfect clarity.
