⇁ This is the story of a young woman searching for her roots.
She travels across Brazil, from Olinda to Indigenous villages, seaside caiçara towns, and communities founded by escaped slaves in the 19th century, guided by traditional midwives and the ancestral wisdom of women who answer the questions that drive her.
I worked on scene co-direction, art direction, and the documentary’s campaign. Designing the poster and shaping its visual identity wasn’t just another gig; it was my bridge from advertising to cinema.
Screenings of the documentary were held in Indigenous communities.
The film also had the pleasure of being recognized at festivals across several countries around the globe.
